Police attack Mayor Near Monterrey, MX

Garcia, Mexico's Mayor Jaime Rodriguez Calderon stated he was attacked by police colluding with the drug cartel Los Zetas.

Just hours previously, cartel gunmen muredered a former deputy police chief in an area within Monterrey.

Monterrey is stated to be in the middle of a tug of war between Los Zetas and Gulf drug cartels.
