The Mexico Page - The Future cartel bleed-over into the United States

This site has not been up long and change for the site is on the very immediate horizon.



The site was created on the premise that we, US citizens, need to monitor the potential for bleedover into the US. 

Well, the potential is over, the cartels are here, have been here, and for the near future it appears they will continue to entrench here.  Cartel presence in the US was astutely noted by Roberta Jacobson, Acting Principal Deputy Assistant, Secretary of State Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs, U.S. Department of State when she said she did not understand what "spillover" means because they are already here [referring to the Mexican Drug Cartels].  This comment was made during the September 30th Conference hosted by CNAS on the cartels.

That said, here's the first change you will see on this blog.

Before:  "The intent of this public service page is to provide situational awareness regarding the instability in Mexico, and its potential for bleed-over into the United States."

Now:  "The intent of this public service page is to provide situational awareness regarding the instability in Mexico, and its potential for bleed-over into the United States."

I removed "its potential for", as the cartels are already here.
